Movie Star Party

by Olive Berry Paper, LLC

Do you have a future starlet in the house? Why not throw her a Movie Star themed birthday party? Here are some ideas I found to make it a magical event.

THE INVITATION

Available as a DIY digital file or in printed format.

DIY Digital – $15.00 | WE design it, YOU print it
Printed Format – Price Varies YOU kick back and relax, WE do the work

THE RED CARPET

Nothing conveys “movie star” as well as a red carpet. Create your own red carpet walkway with a few yards of fabric from the craft store. Red felt is only $3.99 a yard at JoAnn Fabrics.  Or, PartyCity offers this ready to go red felt walkway for only $6.99!

THE PAPARAZZI

Where there’s a red carpet there’s usually a group of paparazzi as well! Create some paparazzi silhouettes out of black poster board. Have your kids lie down on the poster board in paparazzi poses, trace them, and cut out the silhouettes. Cut out a star from white construction paper to make a camera flash. Short on time? I found these paparazzi wall decals at party city for an affordable $5.99 (for a set of 2).

THE AWARD

Every successful starlet needs an Oscar to take home with her. These delightful chocolate award statues from Chocolate by Design are perfect!

THE FAVORS

Some popcorn boxes filled with popcorn, candies, movie star glasses, and trinkets!
