Custom Onesie Invite

We had a custom invitation request recently that was SO CUTE I couldn’t resist posting some photos of it. These onesie baby shower invitations were printed onto metallic lavender stock and a custom ducky hang tag was tied on with a white satin ribbon. Then we created matching inserts in a smaller size to hold the RSVP info and menu choices. Matching favor labels, table numbers and envelope seals were also created for a cohesive theme.

R2D2 Inspired Bookmarks

Today is my son’s 6th birthday – Happy Birthday B!

This year he wanted to get a little creative with treats for school. He asked if instead of candy we could give everyone Star Wars Legos.  “Because then it wouldn’t be bad for your teeth.” Unfortunately, I vetoed that idea and suggested maybe we could make something instead. After much debate we agreed to give everyone a Star Wars bookmark. I drew out an R2D2 type character and we printed him out onto thick card stock. Then we cut him out on a digital cutting machine and added ribbon to the top.  In the end, B decided that maybe adding a piece of candy to the mix would be a good idea “because then my friends could have something to eat while they read a book”. So we made a little assembly line and he added  a piece of candy and our hand made bookmark to a little cello bag and then sealed each one with a sticker. Unfortunately we were in a bit of a rush this morning so I didn’t get a chance a snap a picture of the whole baggie but they looked adorable. B pretended he worked in a candy factory as he went through the assembly line.
